Bhupender Yadav, PhD Student

​

I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated researcher in the field of molecular biology. I started my career with Amity University, Haryana in 2013, where I did my B.Tech in Biotechnology and also received a minor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Further, I did my post graduation (M.Tech) from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru in 2019, where I received specialized training in purification techniques of biomolecules. I joined Amity University, Haryana in 2019 as a Ph.D. student and I am currently working on the underlying molecular mechanisms involved in the role of lncRNA in cancer biology.

Samarth Kansara, PhD Student

​

I completed my intact integrated Biotechnology (5.5 years) study from S.P. University, V.V.Nagar, Gujarat in the year 2016. Throughout my masters I took two Vocational Research Training for more than 5 month. During M.Sc. dissertation I worked on “Effect of Methyl Jasmonate (mj) on A-549 lung cancer cell line and docking with Targeted Protein” which was published in IJCT. Then I joined as a JRF and then as a SRF for one and half year in GSBTM granted project on the topic of “Approach to resolve identification of compound herbal functions through DNA barcoding”.

Currently, I have joined Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Haryana to continue my academic career with a PhD.

Ayushi Sharma, Project Assistant

Graduated in BIOTECHNOLOGY from I.P. College Campus-II, Bulandshahr affiliated with C.C.S. University, Meerut during the session 2014-17. During graduation I was Summer Research Fellow for 2 months funded by Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) and worked at Translational Health Science Technology and Institute (THSTI). I did my masters in BIOTECHNOLOGY from AMITY University, Gurgaon in the session 2017-19. During masters went through two month summer training programme from BASE (Biotech Academy of Science and education) Society, Bulandshahr and six month Dissertation programme from Animal Cell Culture Lab from AMITY University, Gurgaon (Jan-Jun2019). I have Current Research interest in Role of long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in different cancer.

​I have done my master's in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, and my bachelor's in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. I have qualified CSIR-NET, ICAR-JRF, GATE-2017, 2019, and 2021. I also have experience in the field of ovarian cancer approx 3 years in AIIMS New Delhi. I joined Dr. A. Pandey Lab at Amity University Manesar Hariyana in March 2021 as a Ph.D. (JRF). My research work is based on “Identifying the role of p53 regulated long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) by Crisper/Cas-9 in ovarian cancer”
